The higher we want to fly, the greater the risk, but that is the glorious part of it. The great uncertainties in which we trust God, the breathless risks we run, with no assurance but our great trust in God, that seems to me to be of the essence of our life and its beauty. This will grow upon you; you will get your balance in the risk and get to love it.

This flight from all attachments in His suffering and death, this great uncertainty for all else but the will of the Father, this breathless risk of love in the face of no assurances, showed forth the essence of His life and beauty. This risk proved to be the glorious part of the complete embrace of divine love for humanity, the Resurrection.
Let this profound truth seep into our hearts this Easter so that we may find the courage to risk all in the confidence of his love, which brings us to the fullness of life.
